Starting August 2021, Marco Tibaldi has joined ILCA as its new manager. Marco has a master's degree in Science for energy and sustainability from the University of Amsterdam. Prior to this he finished his bachelor's degree in chemistry and chemical technology from the University of Turin. Marco's strong believe is that Science and Society should work together, towards a sustainable future, for everyone, everywhere.
For Innovation Lab Chemistry Amsterdam, we were looking for an energetic professional with background in chemistry/ sustainability. His educational background, entrepreneurial attitude, deep understanding of the various forces at play makes him an ideal candidate to take up the tasks as ILCA Operations manager. Previous interim manager, Dr. Monalisa Goswami has moved to a strategy advisory to support the growth and vision realisation of ILCA.
As the manager he has a challenging role to enhance the role of Innovation Lab Chemistry Amsterdam. In the coming months he will be liaising with ILCA’s board members, IXA business developers and strategic advisors to put our mission to action. He will be actively organising ILCA's events like Chem Together and ACID where we activate and connect to chemistry professionals.
We are looking forward to this new era of ILCA and wish him all the best in this journey.
